My current job role at Oracle is managerial, but with a heavy bias for technical work. I manage a small team of technical QA engineers working on Oracle E-Business Suite’s core technology platform. Prior to this I was a development manager responsible for a Dev & a QA team within the EBS Business Intelligence group. At Oracle, most of my work is with Java, PL/SQL & XML. I use Java as my primary programming language for software I write for personal use.
Before joining Oracle I have spent some time with an eLearning startup working on LMS, CMS and desktop based authoring systems. I also spent some time in a game development shop called FxLabs where I developed a few mobile games using J2ME and BREW. Also worked on a PC & XBox based game. My first job after college, IIT Kharagpur, was with Tata Consultancy Services, TCS. There I was a PowerBuilder jockey and I hated it
