My current job role at Oracle is managerial,but with a heavy bias for technical work. I manage a small team of technical QA engineers working on Oracle E-Business Suite’s core technology platform. Prior to this I was a development manager responsible for a Dev &a QA team within the EBS Business Intelligence group. At Oracle,most of my work is with Java,PL/SQL &XML. I use Java as my primary programming language for software I write for personal use.
Before joining Oracle I have spent some time with an eLearning startup working on LMS,CMS and desktop based authoring systems. I also spent some time in a game development shop called FxLabs where I developed a few mobile games using J2ME and BREW. Also worked on a PC &XBox based game. My first job after college,IIT Kharagpur,was with Tata Consultancy Services,TCS. There I was a PowerBuilder jockey and I hated it
